About

Christine from Hope Bars in the kitchen making our quinoa bars

Our Story

After I had my first child, life became busier than I had ever imagined possible. I knew I had to find a way to continue the healthy, clean, plant-based lifestyle I had become accustomed to as it had always empowered me, kept me energized, and most importantly...I now had a much bigger reason to make sure I stayed healthy.

I quickly realized the days of preparing time consuming nutritious meals were over. So I searched many store shelves for an on-the go, quick and easy healthy food option. I was very discouraged as all I found were snacks with many processed ingredients, filler “mystery” ingredients I couldn’t pronounce, and candy bars disguised as “nutritional” bars.

I then decided to combine all the healthiest, nutrient rich, plant-based ingredients I knew and relied on as staples in my diet. After much trial and error, I found the perfect combination and we've been spreading hope ever since!

Eat, Hope, Love

As an oncology nurse, I have seen first hand how charities can help people in need. I have learned that even the smallest gifts can have a great impact on those who are struggling.

We chose the highest rated children’s charities that support hunger, education, and healthcare. We have made a commitment to give 10% of the proceeds from every bar sold to one of the designated charities.

The charities we currently give to are:

St Jude Children's Research Hospital

Feeding America

Teach For America

Christine with her husband and 2 children

My very supportive husband and our boys.

Without them, Hope Bars would still be just a dream.
